A recent article in the OC Register, discussed the recent price reduction of 6 Via de Tesoro to 701,900. "This recently reduced home in San Clemente’s gated Sea Pointe Estates, a controversial topic with readers on this blog, is pretty large for the asking price. First listed at $901,900, the home is now priced at $701,900 and has 5 bedrooms, 4 baths, 4,300-square-feet and canyon/mountain views. The address is 6 Tesoro and the HOA dues are - and this may be a deal breaker - $450 a month. It’s a foreclosure, and it last sold for $847,130 in April (to the bank). So, I’m not sure if the HOA dues will break the bank, but that price is pretty low for a house that big."
